EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Noah’s Ark Christian Preschool’s Pre-K graduation is usually held at Barbee Presbyterian Church on the first Saturday in May, when parents, grandparents and friends fill the sanctuary with excitement to see the program and their little ones graduate. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 graduation turned out differently. “We made the decision to move the graduation ceremonies to Saturday, May 30, and hold it outside on the front porch area of Barbee,” school information states. “Instead of graduating the entire pre-K together, we scheduled the event by 30-minute appointments only. Parents were given 20 minutes to see their child receive their diploma, as well as a children’s Bible and their graduation tassel. The porch was decorated with the rainbow and Noah’s Ark, which made a perfect backdrop for picture-taking by the families.
