After about a decade of wriggling and whining, with copious amounts of pretense sprinkled liberally upon nonsense, the Republican-dominated General Assembly – kicking and screaming to the last – finally agreed that online businesses should pay the same sales tax that mom-and-pop businesses have paid all along.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS — It wouldn’t be summer in Excelsior Springs without Waterfest. After taking a COVID break in 2020, everyone’s favorite festival returns in 2021 with a celebration larger than ever.

Excelsior Springs district OKs math service for schools

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The school district has another new math service. On May 10, the Board of Education approved an agreement with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to provide Into Math services for grades K-5, effective the 2021-22 school year and priced at $112,043.
