From maintaining a healthy smile to making sense of medical bills, two upcoming sessions will offer practical information aimed at helping community members better navigate their health and healthcare.

Excelsior Springs Hospital will offer two Health & Wellness sessions this month, beginning Oct. 16 with “Dental Health: More Than Just a Smile,” presented by Dr. Whitehead with ES Family Dentistry. The series will continue Oct. 27 with “Navigating Medical Costs: Financial Counseling and Resources,” presented by hospital Financial Counselor Lauryn Morrison.

Both presentations will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Excelsior Springs Community Center. Registration is required for senior citizens and/or non-senior lunches and is available at www.es-prcc.com/ senior-center.
