EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The city’s McDonald’s owner-operators, Essig & Associates, presented a check to Sara Noblet, executive director for the Good Samaritan Center of Excelsior Springs as part of a COVID-19 Relief Fund. McDonald’s is donating more than $68,000 toward COVID-19 relief funds to organizations across the Midwest. “This donation will go a long way in helping the center make up for our losses in sales at our Broadway Bargains Thrift Store and having to postpone our annual fundraisers, which provide the support we need throughout the year to address poverty here,” Noblet said.
