An Excelsior Springs man has sentenced to 14 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for three felony charges after reaching an agreement with the Ray County Prosecutor’s Office, six years after the initial report was made to law enforcement.

Supporting high school seniors who plan to pursue higher education, Mediacom Communications is providing $60,000 in scholarship support. Now in its 24th consecutive year, this scholarship program will award 60 high school seniors with $1,000 World Class Scholarships.

Local entrepreneur Devon Harris is working to expand outdoor recreational opportunities across Missouri, including the development of mountain biking and hiking trails in Excelsior Springs.
