Regina Lynn (Salter) Parker, 50, of Edwards, died at her home, surrounded by her family and dear friends on Dec. 13, 2020, after a three-year battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Regina was born on July 7, 1970, in Kansas City. She was the eldest daughter of John and Paula Salter of Excelsior Springs.

She was united in marriage to Stacey D. Parker of Edwards on June 30, 2013. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Amy (Steve) Cole of Independence; son, Michael (Trish) Parker of El Dorado Springs; son, Brian (Krista) Parker of El Dorado Springs; son, Dustin (Anna) Parker of Oak Grove; and son, Brandon Vernon of Olathe, Kansas.

Still other survivors include six grandsons and six granddaughters; her mother, Paula Salter of Excelsior Springs; sister, Shanna Salter of South Dakota; sister, Jonetta Atkinson of Rayville; and many cherished extended family members.

Regina was preceded in death by her father, John R. Salter Jr.; and her grandparents, Lynn and Gertrude Wright and Eugene and Catherine McAfee.

Regina was a 1988 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School. She met her husband Stacey on June 29, 2001. They moved to Warsaw in 2004 and to the family farm in 2010. Regina had many passions in life, first and foremost being her family, friends and pets. She loved NASCAR, her favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt Jr. She also loved fishing, boating, caring for wildlife, cruises and float trips.

Arrangements for her cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
