Cynthia Ann Brown, 64, of Humansville, MO, died May 26, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 4 p.m.

Teresa Re’Nay Howard-Sawyer, 68, of Lawson, MO passed away peacefully at her home on May 26, 2021.

She was born Jan. 4, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to Carl G. and Betty L. Ballou. She graduated from Northeast High School, Class of 1971 and later studied at the University of Central Missouri. 
She is preceded in death by her father Carl G. Ballou and granddaughter Haley L. McDonald.

Leroy J. Fluesmeier of Excelsior Springs died May 27, 2021, at his home of complications with Parkinson Dementia at the age of 77 surrounded by his loving family.

Brad Michael Carr, 56, Excelsior Springs, MO passed, after a long hard-fought battle with cancer, on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. 

Brad was born to Mary Brell White and Lonnie “Bud” Carr on October 22, 1964. 

Roberta Mae Cogdill, 93 on May 14, went to be with our heavenly father on May 22, 2021.

She worked as a church secretary at Woods Memorial Church also known as Miss Roberta at Jan's Show 'N Tell Preschool. She loved her family very much and they were her world.

Charles Omar Garrett passed away peacefully Thursday May 20, 2021, at his home in Excelsior Springs, MO. He was born to Omar and Marjorie Garrett in Sedalia, MO.

He is survived by the love of his life Roberta (Berta) who he was married to for 47 years.

Rosalee Korff (Rosy Francis), 74, passed away May 11, 2021.

The daughter of John Henry and Janearl (Winfrey) Francis, she was born March 12, 1947, at Dr. Cole’s office, above Goppert Bank, in Norborne.

She attended Norborne Elementary and Norborne High School, graduating in 1965.  After graduation, she attended Central Missouri State College (now UCM) at Warrensburg for two years.  Later, she took additional adult education classes.

Anita Bell Hill, 82, of Excelsior Springs passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, in her home, surrounded by her family.

Anita was born on March 3, 1939, to Edgar and Anna Mae McGinnis.

Joanne “Jan” Jackson, 95, of Richmond died Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at Oakridge Assisted Living in Richmond.

Jan was born on Dec. 17, 1925, in Richmond, the daughter of Newton Paul and Nina (Clark) Hamacher.  She was united in marriage to James Donald “Don” Jackson of Richmond on Sept. 5, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2009.

Robert “Bob” Ballinger, 84, of Excelsior Springs passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at home following a battle for three years and eight months with multiple myeloma cancer.

Bob was born on June 29, 1936, in Mill Grove, the son of Robert Carl Ballinger and Loraine Lowe Emke.

He was married to Barbara Patterson Ballinger on Nov. 24, 1957.
