Tiger Bowl provides tournaments, scholarships

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Life has been rolling along at Tiger Bowl over the last three weekends, as owners Jerry and Teresa Farrell have been busy hosting various tournaments. On July 10, Gannon Davis picked up a youth six-game sweeper tournament championship. Davis received an $80 scholarship for rolling a 1,061 series on the day and a 176.8 average. Runnerup Andrew DeOrnellis finished with a 1,044 series, 174 average, and received a $56 scholarship. The third-place finisher and top female was Olivia Smith with a 1,041 series and 173.5 average. She received a $35 scholarship for rolling the highest female game. Andrew Smith rounded out the top four with a 165 average, 991 series. He received a $35 scholarship for the top individual game by a male. Broc Hurla (964), Kirsten Zirjacks (946) and Landen Davis (876) rounded out the day’s participants.
