Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Scores of children participated in the Community Easter Egg Hunt April 15 at Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab, 1003 Meadowlark Lane. Activities Director Chris Young said probably 200 people attended.

Body Jacob Schmidt was incorrectly identified on second reference in our April 8 issue in listing the three Excelsior Springs medalists at the Winnetonka Tournament. Ethan Edwards placed sixth, Schmidt was seventh and Eli Smith placed 15th in the tournament.

City seeks federal grant for street work

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The City Council approved an agreement April 4 to seek a federal grant to make road improvements. The city sought a grant in 2021 but did not receive money.
