ST. LOUIS – Three years after Missourians agreed to change the Constitution to allow the use and sale of medical cannabis, a new campaign aims to give voters the opportunity to legalize marijuana for adult recreational use in 2022.
KANSAS CITY – The Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration increased the range of civil penalties that may be imposed on individuals who violate the federal mask mandate for transportation.
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The City Council moved toward updating building codes. The council approved the initial reading of an ordinance to accept four inter national codes – electrical, gas, mechanical and plumbing.
RICHMOND – Medicaid expansion began last week in Missouri. Healthcare for Missouri led the statewide campaign that resulted in voters passing Amendment 2 to force expansion.
