EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Substance Abuse Free Environments, or SAFE, Coalition recognized the Excelsior Springs Early Childhood Center staff with the Community Champion Award. The program is designed to recognize each of 40 developmental assets found important to a child’s positive development and success in life.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – New management is coming to the Excelsior Springs Golf Course, which city leaders praised but some people criticized. Although a regular City Council meeting was slated for this week, a “special” meeting took place Jan.
DURING A RUSHED meeting that provided almost no time for public input, the City Council gave approval to a private company to manage the Excelsior Springs Golf Course.
