ESFD provides mutual aid

The Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) responded to a request for mutual aid on a recent structure fire near Iris Avenue, in the Wood Heights Fire Department (WHFD) district. “We were dispatched for manpower on a detached garage fire,” said ESFD Assistant Chief Cameron White.

Tai Chi to be taught at ES Community Center

Field Specialist in Nutrition and Health Melissa Cotton from the University of Missouri Extension’s Health and Well-Being Department has agreed to host a free Tai Chi class in Excelsior Springs. Classes will be held every Monday and Friday at noon, through March 22.

Clay County Board of Election Commissioners hire Heather Hall
