Scrap tire grant replaces picnic tables

The Excelsior Springs Parks and Recreation Department has received a scrap tire grant, allowing the department to replace picnic tables at Siloam Mountain Park. The grant, made available from Missouri Department of Natural Resources, will also provide for a handicap accessible picnic table to be placed at each gazabo in the park.
SCRAP TIRE GRANT funds were used to replace old picnic tables at Siloam Mountain Park. The grant also will provide for handicap-accessible picnic tables to be placed at each gazebo in the park.
