The Excelsior Standard, May 26, 2023 Christine Davila, 82, of Excelsior Springs passed away on Mother’s Day, May 14, 2023, at Liberty Hospital. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m.

An Excelsior Springs basketball player is moving on to the collegiate level. Rakai Gantt, who graduated May 12 from Excelsior Springs High School, recently signed a letter of intent to play at McPherson (Kan.) College, an NAIA school affiliated with the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
