A registered sex offender — who was allegedly fleeing from law enforcement with two juveniles in the vehicle — has been charged after his vehicle went airborne and crashed into the roof of the Clay-Ray Veterans Hall, located at 208 Veterans Memorial Drive.

Small town newspapers are the community’s backbone and provide much more than a link to an article online or a news clip on social media.

The May 7 deadline for the federal REAL ID enforcement is now less than four months away and the Missouri Department of Revenue (MDR) is urging residents to ensure they are prepared. Currently, only 41% of Missouri’s total document holders have a REAL ID.
