Poised volleyballers take third at tourney

Excelsior Springs might’ve turned a corner over the weekend in varsity volleyball, based on what coach Cindy Price saw during tournament play in Chillicothe. “We’ve struggled at times this season and allowed teams to get too many points without breaking their momentum, but this weekend, the girls played with more poise than we’ve seen,” Price stated Sunday via email.
