Robert (Bob) McCrorey, 79, of Liberty, MO, died March 31, 2020.

Bob was born August 4, 1940 and raised in Excelsior Springs, MO and moved to Liberty two years ago. He graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1958 and graduated from CMSU in Warrensburg, MO in1962 with a B.S. in Business Administration. 

National Guard deploys to fight spread of virus

JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri National Guard has been mobilized where needed to assist communities in this state that are dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.

“I want to be perfectly clear: This is not about putting Missouri under martial law. This is a planning stage operation to provide more assistance to Missourians and increase our capacity to deploy resources quickly. The Guard will play a major role in supporting state and local communities, ” Missouri National Guard Brig. Gen. Levon Cumpton said

No-excuse voting possible

RICHMOND – Tuesday’s municipal elections will not happen – being put off for two months – but perhaps could have happened on the original date if lawmakers had passed Rep. Peggy McGaugh’s “noexcuse” absentee voting measure.
