Fire department gets monitors/defibrillators

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Excelsior Springs Fire Department has three new monitors/defibrillators. The department received the LifePak 15 Version 4 monitors/defibrillators in October, following requests this summer to city officials.
THE EXCELSIOR SPRINGS Fire Department is cleared by the City Council to buy new models to replace LifePak monitor/defibrillation units.

Judge grants county time to appeal

Body LIBERTY – After Circuit Judge James Van Amburg ruled the Clay County Commission must turn over records commissioners seek to keep secret from Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway, the commission issued a statement that the ruling did not provide adequate time for appeal.

City approves UTVs for road usage

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – A new City Council rule lets residents drive utility task vehicles on city streets and highways where speed limits are 45 mph or lower.
