A West Excelsior Street business will be receiving improvements after a Chapter 353 Tax Abatement was approved by the Excelsior Springs City Council. Mark Green submitted an application for GreenStrawberry, LLC, regarding a property situated at the corner of North Marietta Avenue and West Excelsior Street.

The hilly terrain of the back nine at Excelsior Springs Golf Course couldn’t stop Silas O’Dell when he ran there recently during the annual Excelsior Springs Cross Country Invitational. The senior negotiated the hills well enough to place 17th among 70 varsity boys runners at the Oct.
