Community encouraged to vote for ES

The city of Excelsior Springs is reaching out to the community to ask for support in securing the opportunity to host the prestigious 2025 Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities (CEC) conference. Excelsior Springs Economic Development Director Melinda Mehaffy and Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce President Brian Rice attended a previous CEC conference and knew then the city wanted to apply to host the event in 2025.

Warrants issued for ES crimes

Warrants were issued for two area residents for non-appearance in court. Nickols A warrant has been issued for a Leavenworth woman who allegedly committed a crime in Excelsior Springs.

Regular school attendance urged

With the start of a new school year approaching, the Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD) is emphasizing the importance of attendance. “Each new school year brings with it opportunities for growth, learning and achievement,” said ESSD Superintendent Jaret Tomlinson.
