Isabelle Sears
Isabelle Mae Sears, 23, of Excelsior Springs passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Isabelle was born May 1, 2001, in Kansas City, the daughter of Trice James and Rebecca Jean (Miller) Sears. Survivors include her parents, both of the home; brother, Logan Christopher Schreier of Excelsior Springs; paternal grandparents, Mike and Trudy Stock of Excelsior Springs; maternal grandmother, Debbie Flexter of Richmond; maternal grandfather, Danny and Becky Miller of Excelsior Springs; two aunts, Amber (Mike) Alley of Holt and Melissa Miller (Charlie Norris) of Richmond; cousin, Hannah Norris of Richmond; and beloved animals, Dodge Michael, Candy Lou, Sticky Bun, Benny, Little Baby and Turbo.
Isabelle was raised and educated in Excelsior Springs and graduated in 2019 from Excelsior Springs High School. She was attending MCC-Maple Woods to become a veterinary technician.
Isabelle worked at the Veterinary Center of Liberty and Vintage Plaza Veterinary Hospital of Excelsior Springs. She had a huge passion and love for all animals.
Isabelle was a kind, sweet, loving and caring young woman. She was selfless and put everyone before herself. She never complained about her situation or her pain and she always had a smile through it all. Her comfort was to make other people happy, and she was always making everyone laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Isabelle will be dearly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace.

Visitation and funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, June 6, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. and services at 2.
