Paul Stewart Jones, 67, of Excelsior Springs passed away peacefully Monday, July 22, 2024, at Avalon View Health and Wellness in Liberty.

Born July 12, 1957, in Kansas City, Paul was the son of Robert Eugene Jones and Evelyn Josephine (Barber) Jones. Paul Jones A longtime resident of Excelsior Springs, Paul had a passion for fishing and was known for his “famous” turtle soup.

Paul is survived by his son, Robert Stoufer; five sisters, Amanda Romazon, Judy Johnson, Virginia Akren, Rhonda O’Dell and Roberta Norsiek; granddaughter, Jada Stoufer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Jones; sister, Sherry Roller; nephew, Nathan Schoolfield; and great-niece, Mystic Angel Ferrell.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Hidden Valley Funeral Homes.
