Jayne Adela Palmer, 81, went home to be with her Lord on Sept. 21, 2020. She lived in Excelsior Springs, Missouri since moving from Kansas City, Mo. in 2010.  She loved her family, she loved her Lord and chose to serve him.  She attended Chandler Baptist Church, Kearney, Mo.  She was employed as a legal administrative assistant and paralegal for over 20 years before and after obtaining her degree at age 50 and honored in Phi Beta Kappa.

Ronald W. Carmichael, 53, Kansas City, died at Liberty Hospital on Sept. 7, 2020, from natural causes. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Danielle York (Dustin), Erin Sedgwick (Mitchell); two sons, Clay Carmichael (Lindsay) and Curtis Carmichael of the home; and five grandchildren, Carley Sedgwick, Brantley Sedgwick, Lyla Carmichael, Lauryn Burch and Damian York. He also is survived by his parents, Melvin and Linda Carmichael; and two brothers, Brian and Daniel Carmichael.
