Starting a job you may or may not be qualified for is daunting, scary and intimidating. It feels like being thrown into the deep water as a kid – not sure if you will sink or swim. In my case, I did not know anything about journalism. My degree isn’t even in communications, let alone writing. My degree in business administration and entrepreneurship which is handy with my small business.

In light of National Women’s History Month, a flashback to the 1920s – when life was changing for women. Not only did women get the right to vote – they were also able to start to work. With new fashion trends such as knee-high dresses and pants, women then paved the way for women in the present.

We have all heard of multitasking. I am here to tell you all these years of “multitasking” have been a myth. Multitasking is not an actual real thing. Hard claim, I know. Do not worry, it is a lot to hear. Considering how our brain and body are connected, the attention span cannot directly perform two or more actions at once.
