Senior finds volleyball team’s family atmosphere appealing

Like many girls in the Excelsior Springs High School volleyball program, Carly Dolt thinks of the program as a family. That family atmosphere is something the senior will miss about the program when this season ends. “I am going to miss all the memories I have made from my time in high school and look forward to what the future holds,” she said. Dolt, a libero for four seasons under coach Kathryn Patridge, hopes the future holds a career playing in college. To help her achieve that goal, Dolt plans to use her A+ scholarship, she said. For now, however, Dolt is looking to help Excelsior Springs compete.
