This past weekend was filled with conversations surrounding how the world is transforming and how my husband and I want to raise our sons moving forward. In the perfect world, I would be a stay-at-home mom, raising my sons while working on a book for publication and running the farm.

One can feel so small when looked at through the eyes of the universe. We are teeny-tiny little specs in a galaxy of planets, stars and the unknown. It’s easy to take things and actions for granted and to see things in black and white.

Everyone has had heard the daunting “back in my day” speech that every grandparent has told from generation to generation, letting us know that things were done differently before our time. In all reality, each parent and grandparent who have mouthed those words are only telling the truth.
