Hall continues to grow trolley services

Over the course of six years, the Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce (ESACC) has made remarkable strides in expanding its trolley service. This expansion has been largely attributed to the dedicated efforts of Trolley Administrator Lindsay Hall, whose unwavering commitment and hard work have been instrumental in bringing about this growth.

Casler, Rogers, Willis get wins at home meet

Sophomores Josie Casler and Kinley Rogers came through with winning throws when Excelsior Springs hosted the Mineral Water Classic. Casler was the girls javelin champion at the April 19 track and field competition, throwing 35.55 meters.

ES girls soccer team keeps rolling

Teams are finding it difficult to beat Excelsior Springs in varsity girls soccer. The Tigers had won five of their last six games entering Tuesday’s road meeting with Oak Park.

ES golfers win individual, best ball competitions

Excelsior Springs produced not one, not two, but three champions at last week’s Lafayette County Tournament. The April 17 competition at the Higginsville Golf & Country Club offered three formats – individual, best ball and scramble.

ES netters thump Richmond, but fall to WC

Last week, Excelsior Springs boys tennis coach Richie Marsh and his Tigers got their first dual win this season.

Their second win, however, eluded them.

As The Standard reported April 19, the Tigers cruised past Richmond 9-0 April 15 at Maurice Roberts Park.
