May highlights many topics and the Excelsior Springs community now has four more to celebrate within the city. Mayor Mark Spohn issued four proclamations aimed at bringing about positive insight into the Excelsior Springs community during the latest meeting of the council.

ES baseballers nab top district seed

Heart makes an appearance in Excelsior Springs

The vibrant and welcoming community of Excelsior Springs now has the chance to experience a beautiful piece of art that celebrates diversity in all its forms. The Parade of Hearts, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community unity, has unveiled a stunning heart-shaped artwork by a local artist in a prominent downtown location.
THE KANSAS CITY Parade of Hearts is making an appearance in Excelsior Springs. Gwynevere Buie’s artwork, ‘Splash!’, is a tribute to the Kansas City Blazers swim team and can be found in the downtown area. SHAWN RONEY | Staff
