Gary W. Gillispie II appeared in person, in custody, for a bond reduction hearing on recently in the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in Clay County. The 38-year-old Excelsior Springs resident is charged with one felony, trafficking drugs - second degree.

Local injured in two-vehicle accident

Tigerette signs to dance at William Jewell

Another Tigerette will continue to dance after high school. Excelsior Springs senior Kelsey Coleman recently signed a letter of intent to be a part of the dance team at William Jewell College in Liberty, where she’ll major in psychology.
