Schwab earns Dean’s List honor

Body An Excelsior Springs native has earned academic honors from Southern New Hampshire University for the Spring 2025 term. Skylar Schwab was named to the university’s Dean’s List, a recognition reserved for full-time undergraduate students who achieve a grade-point average between 3.

FBI marks 45 years of fighting terrorism

Body The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is marking the 45th anniversary of its first Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). Formed in New York in 1980, the first JTTF became a model for law enforcement cooperation across the nation.

Historic properties recognized

Body The Excelsior Springs Historic Preservation Commission recently held a regular meeting during which awards were presented for the preservation of historic properties in Excelsior Springs.
