Drive-thru pickup service will now be allowed at marijuana dispensaries in Excelsior Springs following council approval to lift the restriction. The measure returns after being tabled in March, when council members paused the decision to gather additional information and hear public concerns about accessibility and community health impacts.

Fresh color returned to downtown Excelsior Springs as volunteers planted red, white and blue flowers across dozens of planters throughout the district. The effort is part of the Downtown Excelsior Partnership’s (DEP) annual planter initiative, which places a total of 36 flower boxes throughout the district each season.
