Alumna teacher recognized as Hope Award recipient
The announcement of the Hope Award at Excelsior Springs School District’s Convocation is always a surprise. This year, the honor went to a familiar face in the halls of Excelsior Springs High School – science teacher and alumna Ally Querry.“I was completely shocked, but so honored,” said Querry. “It was such a special moment to not only receive the award, but also to have my family there to surprise and support me.
