The 17th Annual Wine Festival was deemed an “absolute success” by Carrie Karr, a member of the festival staff. After a walk down Lover’s Lane in East Valley Park, guests were able to sample 85 various wines from 20 Missouri wineries while listening to live music performed by the Brody Busters Band. The Excelsior Springs Downtown Partnership hosted the event, which was sponsored by Broadway Bar and Grill, the Simmons Sales Team, Chuck Anderson Ford, Excelsior Springs Hospital, Christmas Ranch Tree Farm, and Rex and Carol Baxter. ...
