An upcoming gathering in Clay County will aim to save lives, offer hope and strengthen community ties in the face of a deadly and growing crisis.The Northland Coalition, partnering with Beacon Mental Health, will host a National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day event from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 in Beacon’s community room.The afternoon will feature presentations, resource tables and opportunities for residents to connect with local organizations fighting the fentanyl epidemic.
