Excelsior Springs is encouraging residents to look beyond Missouri Good Neighbor Week to make connecting with those living nearby a year-round effort.

As Excelsior Springs works toward earning its third consecutive Most Neighborly City recognition, local efforts are also focused on bringing residents together throughout the year, including a goal of at least one block party or neighborhood gathering in every neighborhood or subdivision.

City of Excelsior Springs Neighborhood Specialist Laura Mize noted some areas already host activities throughout the year, while others may not have yet.
