Residents will have another chance to safely dispose of personal documents during the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Community Shredding Event, now rescheduled for Nov. 8.Originally planned for Oct. 4, the event was postponed after the shredding company’s truck broke down that morning.Sponsored by Verimore Bank, the free drive-through event will run from 9-11 a.m. or until the truck is full, in the north parking lot of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1600 Route 291, Liberty.The event provides residents with an easy and secure way to prevent identity theft by securely shredding sensitive paperwork. Only paper will be accepted and the service is limited to personal documents, not business materials....
