Following a successful community collection this spring, the city of Excelsior Springs and Tech Remove are teaming up again for a fall electronic waste recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 3.

The event is open to Excelsior Springs and surrounding communities, providing area residents with a convenient and responsible way to recycle used and unwanted electronics.

The drive-through collection will take place at Excelsior Springs Public Works, 103 East Water Street, using the same collection area as the spring event. The event is designed for quick and easy participation.

Residents are encouraged to bring used and unwanted electronics, with a particular need for desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones. Printers, computer accessories, televisions and other electronic devices are also welcome for responsible recycling.
