KS man appears in court after Mosby pursuit
A Kansas man has been granted a bond reduction after being arrested when Clay County deputies spotted a stolen vehicle in Mosby and initiated a pursuit.Johnny J. Peguero-Taveras, 25, has been charged with two felonies, including first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle and aggravated fleeing a stop or detention. He appeared this week before Seventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge Karen L. Krauser for an arraignment and bond hearing. During the hearing, Peguero-Taveras entered a plea of not guilty and requested a reduction in his bond. Krauser agreed to lower the bond from $75,000 to $50,000.Peguero-Taveras will appear at 1:30 p.m. on March 11 for his next hearing.
