Residents press city on mining damage, council tackles infrastructure
Residents living along Cameron Road filled the Excelsior Springs City Council chamber to plead for help with blasting, dust and property damage they say has worsened since Ideker began expanding its mining operations.Multiple Clay County residents described structural damage, unsafe road conditions and rising health concerns linked to the mining site.
