SAFE discusses FullCircle
The FullCircle program and ways it can benefit local youth suffering from addiction was discussed at a recent Excelsior Springs Substance Abuse Free Environments (SAFE) meeting.FullCircle is a dynamic peer support network designed for young individuals. It is grounded in the belief that engaging in self-destructive behaviors can be significantly reduced when presented with positive alternatives. This initiative focuses on creating an environment where fun, meaningful and fulfilling activities are offered as substitutes for harmful habits.“FullCircle is for teens and young adults aged 13-25,” stated FullCircle Lead Coordinator Jake Pollard. “We are not a treatment or therapy service, and we do not aim to replace those options, as they certainly have their importance.
