Phyllis O’Connell, 82, of Rayville, MO, passed away peacefully at home on November 11, 2021. Phyl was born July 1, 1939, in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was a loving and intelligent Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.

Esther Marie Clevenger, 87, Excelsior Springs, MO. passed away November 11, 2021.  A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Hillcrest Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Flack Memorial Christian Church, 1300 Tracy Ave., Excelsior Springs, MO.

Joan (Harris) Vincent, 89, a longtime Excelsior Springs resident, passed away Nov. 10, 2021, at Redwood of Cameron, MO.

Joan was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Liberty, MO, one of five children of Lester and Georgia (Baker) Harris. 

Jimmy Wayne Henson was born to Bernice and Arie Henson on Aug. 5, 1951, in Excelsior Springs, MO. 

He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, papa, and friend. 

            On October 29, 2021, Morene May Davis passed away at the age of 93 years old. Morene was born on December 28, 1927, in Great Bend, Kansas to Chester Hampton Rutherford and Zola Estella Gaskill. She was married on April 22, 1967 to her life long partner, Sharon Davis. They both had one daughter together, Dorothy Tackett. She had two children from a previous marriage, Beverly Fowler and Dennis Fordham.

Patricia Ann (Waring) Bonen passed away on October 27, 2021.  Pat was born in Independence, Missouri in 1949.  She grew up in Independence and Rayville, Missouri.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Waring of Independence, her brother, Richard “Sonny” Waring of Richmond, and a nephew, Richard “Shane” Waring of Cameron.  Pat also leaves many cousins, friends, and other loved ones.

Mary Jane McCullough 68, passed away October 23, 2021 after a long illness. She was born in Clay County, Missouri, the daughter of J. T. and Dorothea McCullough who preceded her in death, as did her brother  Bill.  She leaves her family of the heart: her sister Jean Ann O'Dell, her niece Dana (Glenn) Radmacher, her nephews David (Christine) Pavlich, Dan ( Ang) Pavlich, Donnie (Julie) Pavlich & Dennis (Mindy) Pavlich. She also leaves twelve great nieces & nephews.

On October 26, 2021, Wallace Reid Sims left this world to be with our Lord. Wally was 92 years young.  Born on May 23, 1929, in Highlandville, MO to Loral and Mildred Sims. Wally was only five when his father passed away. Mildred later met and married Howard Blevins and gave Wally two sisters.

Lloyd Jr. “Bud” Ranes passed away Oct. 25, 2021, at the Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab Center.

Bud was born on April 22, 1937, in Excelsior Springs, the son of Lloyd and Helen Ranes.

Bud married Bernita Holt Ranes on July 3, 1957.                         

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother, Virginia Mae Montgomery Stallings in the early hours of Oct. 21, 2021.

She was born in Greenville, AL on Nov. 4, 1940, and lived her life in Alabama and Missouri.
