Excelsior Springs coach Jake Danneman liked what he saw from his Tigers during their 41-22 season-opening loss to Belton in varsity 11-man football – at least on offense.“Offensively, we did great Friday night,” Danneman said Monday. “We’ve got to clean a few things up with penalties and a little bit of hustle stuff – getting to the line of scrimmage, getting the ball snapped and understanding our concepts a little bit faster.
