EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – A juniorladen crew will hit the courts this spring for the Tigers in varsity boys tennis. Excelsior Springs returns four juniors from last season: Joshua Oldham, Carter Pitts, Colby Mueller and Lee Mueller. Oldham looks to solidify the top singles spot – a position he held all last season. Pitts will start at No. 2 singles, with Colby Mueller starting in the three spot and Lee Mueller in the four spot. Another group of juniors – Nolan Greim, Ethan Sams, Evan Hormell and Matthew Rebello – will jockey for the final two singles positions. All four saw action at the junior varsity level last season. The Nos. 1 and 2 singles will combine to play No. 1 doubles, with the Nos. 3 and 4 singles forming the No. 2 doubles team, and Nos. 5 and 6 combining for the No. 3 doubles team.
