Varsity soccer seniors leave legacy

Excelsior Springs varsity boys soccer coach Zac Ganzer will have some voids to fill in his program in about four months.In mid-May, Ganzer will lose seven seniors to graduation. That group has helped the Tigers place in the top four in the Class 2 state tournament three times and win four league titles – a feat only accomplished once before in school history.“This group of seniors is something special, and the way they’ve helped this program develop, I owe them a ton,” Ganzer said.Per the roster posted on the Missouri State High School Activities Association, that “group of seniors” consists of Deagen Barber, Austin Collins, Grayson Grove, Logan Houston, Kolin Kincaid, Easton Ryan and Jake Zapata.
