MEXICO – Excelsior Springs played baseball for the first time since May 2019. Over the weekend, the Tigers visited faced Mexico and Marshfield in an annual triangular to start the season in Mexico.

ES golfers take sixth at tournament

BLUE SPRINGS – The Tigers had to deal with more than a wet, cold and windy day last week when they played in their first boys golf tournament this season. Playing in the eight-team Oak Grove Tournament, the Tigers also had to deal with the rolling hills and dramatic elevation changes of Adam’s Pointe Golf Course in Blue Springs.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers enter the boys golf season with limited varsity experience but have a young core of golfers eager to learn the game. As the only returning player with varsity experience, junior Ethan Edwards will lead Excelsior Springs’ 13 golfers on the links.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers started this varsity girls basketball season on a hot streak, but struggling to regain their rhythm as the season wore on. They won four of the first five, scoring wins over Richmond and Lexington before playing in the Husker Classic at Lafayette County of Higginsville.
