Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – There is a buzz this season about the youthful talent on the Excelsior Springs varsity baseball team. Coach Aaron Holst enters his 21st season leading a crew of athletes with little varsity experience.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Excelsior Springs boys tennis team looks to work off some rust after losing the 2020 season to the COVID-19 pandemic. “Missing out on last year will have a great impact on how we start the season,” coach Richie Marsh said.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Like other high school sports programs, the Tigers look to make up for lost time this varsity girls soccer season. “We will have a lot of young players that missed out on an entire year of development,” coach Zac Ganzer said.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers enter the boys golf season with limited varsity experience but have a young core of golfers eager to learn the game. As the only returning player with varsity experience, junior Ethan Edwards will lead Excelsior Springs’ 13 golfers on the links.

Body INDEPENDENCE – On March 11, four Excelsior Springs boys wrestlers traveled to Cable Dahmer Arena with high expectations. Three of those four came home with medals.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers started this varsity girls basketball season on a hot streak, but struggling to regain their rhythm as the season wore on.

Body INDEPENDENCE – Winter sports have wrapped at Excelsior Springs. The Tigers concluded their winter schedule Thursday, when four wrestlers competed in the Class 2 state boys tournament at Cable Dahmer Arena: Damon Ashworth, Micah Danner, Landen Davis and Ayden Dolt.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Eight Excelsior Springs wrestlers entered the Class 2 Sectional 4 Tournament Feb. 27 at Excelsior Springs High School with aspirations of making it to the Class 2 state tournament.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigerettes, Excelsior Springs High School’s dance team, are state champions. The Tigerettes competed in the Missouri State Dance Team Championship, performing an energetic hip-hop routine.
