Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers are rolling in varsity boys tennis as the postseason approaches. Entering the Missouri River Valley Conference Tournament, slated for Wednesday, the Tigers had won three of four duals.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers tallied 22 top-10 girls and 28 top-10 boys finishes when they hosted the Mineral Water Classic April 23 at Tiger Stadium.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – On April 15, six high school track and field programs descended upon Tiger Stadium for the Highway 92 Meet. In the girls competition, the Tigers produced eight top-10 finishes in the field events.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – At times, the big inning has crippled the Tigers this varsity baseball season. On April 6, however, it was a big second inning that propelled Excelsior Springs to an 18-3 victory over Oak Grove.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The black and gold went 0-3 last week in varsity boys tennis matches, falling to Carrollton, Harrisonville and Warrensburg. On April 5, the team visited Carrollton, falling 7-2.

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The black and gold had a full slate of baseball games last week. During the week, the ballclub made three road trips, playing March 30 at Harrisonville, March 31 at Benton of St.

Body CHILLICOTHE – The Tigers had “a great night” April 1, when they visited Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium for the Chillicothe Invitational, coach Jonah Albertson said. “By the end of the meet, we had an impressive total of 44 p.r.’s (personal records)!” Albertson said.
