as Excelsior Springs Hospital’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). It has been clarified that Untch has yet to take on the new role and has been hired as an interim. Kristen DeHart explained the Hospital Board will help decide whether he will step into the CFO position within the next few months.

ES School Board recognizes student accomplishments

The Excelsior Springs School Board honored students for their hard work and dedication for their participation in the annual school play “Seussical the Musical,” as well as recognizing the boy’s soccer team for ranking fourth in the Class 2 state boys soccer tournament.

Excelsior Springs Hospital welcomes new CFO

The Excelsior Springs Hospital board of trustees met to welcome new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Matt Untch and to discuss their ongoing fight to obtain an Employee Retention Tax Credit from 2021. Untch introduced himself to the board and said he has worked in health care for over 25 years.
