To earn a spot on the honor roll, students must maintain a commendable grade point average of B (3.0) or higher, with no grade falling below a C-.

Rayville man facing multiple drug charges

A warrant has been issued for a Rayville man who is facing a multitude of charges. Dalton Baldwin, 18, has been charged with two felonies and four misdemeanors, including two counts of delivering a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and four counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Excelsior grad sets 5,000 indoor record

Excelsior Springs High School graduate Michael Rebello has put his name in the Bradley University record books. Robello, the 2019 Class 3 state cross country champion and a 2020 Excelsior Springs graduate, set the school indoor record for the 5,000-meter run this winter while representing Bradley at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational.

With the high school season having ended recently, some Excelsior Springs baseball fans might be focusing on a ballclub based about 30 miles away: the Kansas City Royals. The Royals were 36-26 entering Wednesday’s American League (AL) Central Division meeting with Cleveland at Progressive Field.
