The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7 At 1:50 p.m., Jessica Haymond, 27, was arrested for failure to appear.

The Excelsior Standard, June 16, 2023 James Lamar White, 82, of Excelsior Springs passed away June 11, 2023, at home peacefully, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.

The Excelsior Standard, June 16, 2023 Lora Irene Chappel of Excelsior Springs died on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in her home. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Chappel; and her daughter, Sabra Morgan-Chappel.
